September’s Fall Market at the PDC was full of enthusiastic designers eager to see the latest furnishings and trends that the showrooms we’re highlighting.
Color as usual is a hot topic and Sheryl and I are always looking forward to seeing which colors those ‘gurus of hues’ at Panatone have selected to be the prevailing inspirations for the latest design trends in furnishings and paint colors for the season.
1. Kravet Colors
Kravet has teamed up with Pantone, the global color authority to present a series of eight coordinated pattern and color stories. We love the fresh color palettes and can’t wait to use them on our next project.
2.Sub-Zero Wolf
Convection Steam Oven
Thursday Evening Sheryl and I along with a small group of designers were invited to a dinner party in the new Sub-Zero Wolf kitchen at Snyder Diamond. I fell in love with the Wolf steam convection oven. If you have a busy lifestyle, and love to get dinner on the table fast without compromising flavor by using the microwave than please consider this oven.
3. Dedon
The world premier outdoor brand opened a new showroom at The Pacific Design Center. Dedon’s success is not only in the design of their furniture but also in the research and development that goes on in their lab, to fabricate a product that is luxurious and created with the passion to be the best. We think the Nestrest is so cool!
4. Robert Allen
A fan deck of solids and textures
We loved the fan deck and the interesting talk that Robert Allen sponsored. I will certainly keep this gadget close at hand to help me select colors and textures.
